Priced a job in Gosforth then had a dodge over to AutoshiteBoy's in the TT. Unfortunately he's a piss head and was way to rough to have a shot. His merc is lovely though especially for what he paid. Every receipt from new too. The original owner stumped up a £30k deposit. I wonder if it was cash in a suitcase cuffed to his wrist. The Shogun's rather shiney too.
I forgot to ask, did you get the welding done on the disco?

I like that Tata, I've a soft spot for the unloved (I am one after all) as well and used to thoroughly enjoy driving the odd Yugo or Skoda (the proper ones not VAG shit) the cheap shitty stalks always made me smile as, for all their cheapness, they work!

This is a good idea for the likes of cv gaiters etc.

Finally got fed up patching the tumble dryer back together, so stumped up for a new one. Had to get it from Currys, as they were the only cunts reasonably local that had one in stock.

I doubt they'd be any good for CV gaiters. There's always fuck all clearance around the hub.paulplom wrote:This is a good idea for the likes of cv gaiters etc.

Re: What did you do today?
(Yesterday) Wandering about in North Somerset in the old Connect, looking for industrial relics and got lost, ending up in a farmyard. Two neat rows of 4x4s, each one a bit mossier than the car to its left. Grand Cherokees, Mercedes ML, XC90 etc. And a red Tata estate that looked like it was based on that pickup they once sold here. Flat red is a much better colour for abandoned cars than monochrome metallics.
Tried a different route but the road got so steep that the front wheels just spun on the tarmac and it just wouldn’t go up any further.

Another years MOT for the Sierra. Needed a track rod end and two bits of welding on the rear arches-£185 -couldn't be bothered pulling the MIG out and freezing for that! Heres a before pic-too dark tonight. They replaced all the rusty bits you can see on the wheelarch near the door on both sides.

New plates have arrived. Not quite road legal but more road legal than the current ones.
