I've done that in the past too and it does indeed work.

Re: Stupid questions about motorised conveyances
Anyone got a suggestion for one of these lithium power blocks? Needs to start cars etc & have lots of USB ports. Everything on ebay is from china or halfrauds & all claim to be the best ever.
I was going to go for the topjon one https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/313906708591 ... %7Ciid%3A1
But it doesn't come with a charger, which seems a bit useless.

Re: Stupid questions about motorised conveyances
There was a thread on AS last week asking the same. https://no.co/gb40
The Noco ones seem to be very well regarded? Personally I'd be paying more for a well known brand with a good track record for something that's a potential fire hazard/bomb.

Lidl/aldi sometimes have their own versions in. They're meant to be okay too.

How do you charge it Paul? with the amp hours they claim them to have it'd surely take days via USB?

Just with a usb charger. Only using it to charge my phone seems to flatten it. It fully charges overnight no problem.

Re: Stupid questions about motorised conveyances
Cheers.
Been saying I'd get one for ages & need one now to get the Jag's boot open as even a battery charger isn't getting enough power into it.

Something in there starting to smell too much and time to do something about it?
