Just got a $260 bill from the plumbers- 2 new shower valves installed.
Ain't bad considering they came at 2 days' notice.

E250, engineering based in 1965.
Essentially unbreakable. They do like to rust though.

I see on the telly that you’re getting the European style vans like the Transit and Sprinter over in the States. I do like the style of the indigenous vans, they have a retro charm.

Re: What did you do today?
Need to know... How is my car still starting when the battery is at 11.5 volts?
It genuinely is as well as the onboard voltmeter and my tester both show the same voltage. It goes up to 14.2 once started. I took it to that shop of excellence Halfords as that's where the battery came from 2 years ago and they tested it and declared it 'a good battery' even though it showed 12 volts on their tester thing.
Will it recover I taken for a run do the great mnds think?

Re: What did you do today?
It’s not the voltage that matters, it’s the power (Amps). Your battery will have a CCA (Cold Cranking Amps) rating. If you have access to a battery tester rather than a multi-meter then check that.
