A lad at the pizza shop I ran 20 years ago had a hand painted Subaru XT that was utterly hideous to drive. It was so bad I went the next 14 years convinced that I'd never even sat in a Subaru of any kind, let alone driven one.

The outer window is too curved to fit into the door so only the flatter inner window moves up and down.

XTs drive like pissed Micras, but I'd still love one.

I have always had a raging hard-on for these things. Nearly bought one about 20 years ago but I just couldn't run to the money the chap wanted :( Regretted it ever since but reading your various posts here and elsewhere have lessened the regret somewhat :)
My Mum and Step-Dad both had Piazza turbos (one silver manual and one white auto)and they were both fine cars. I hated my Mum so used to borrow it and rag the shit out of it at every opportunity. It's handling could get a tad 'interesting' but otherwise far too good for the likes of her.

Come and drive it with the dogs, it'll feel at home.

They're interesting cars, I'm continually surprised they're not far more expensive. I remember the first time I saw one - a real compliment to any car. It looked like a concept car driven straight from a Motorshow stand.
