One of my sister's friends took this route into becoming the most unlikely HGV driver you would ever meet as she needed her full HGV licence for the artic and trailer they use to move the horses at the racing stables.
When it got quiet on the horse front she would do agency driving jobs.

I confess I haven’t got photos as it would be too obvious why I wanted them, you can guarantee the phone would make that sound even if I try to secretly take one with the sound was switched off! Even Mrs NF thinks she is a cracker, and doesn’t give me grief for dribbling and stammering when I am talking to her. My old man helped out when the mains in burst flooding her out and his jaw hit the floor. He doesn’t stop going on about her - mother NF and Mrs NF rolling their eyes but Mrs NF suffixing it with a general agreement but reminding us to adjust our expectations as she has had 2 kids in quick succession. Anyway, the horsebox... ahem.

She is doing all the work herself and her mum helps out.

there is a racing stable up the road from Devonshite centre of operations. The stable lasses ride around the block wearing riding boots and jodhpurs always have a friendly hello from me. The 'orses aint bad neither

when i say senior lass I am in my early 50s and she is probably younger than me
