I wouldn't be surprised if someone had come up with a way to easily jettison a burning engine. It'd be cool in a Bond film, after all they did have a 2CV in one.

But they did have to drive it down a hill so steep it was nearly a cliff to make it go fast enough to entertain.

Just think, you could sit at the table in the back and barbeque your food and keep warm when it catches fire.

I wonder if this is a Jurgens Autovilla from South Africa?
Theres one on SA plates locally that I suspect got marooned here due to covid lockdowns.

Explosive bolts like they use for rocket stage separation would soon sort that....oddly I've seen quite a few of those coach-built ones about. I guess they are significantly less than a normal one and you can't exactly rip the back off to make a pickup so they will probably stay less valuable.

I didn't realise hipsters existed around your way, I just assumed that it was a normal trading estate food van as the brand names mean nothing to me.
