The Kraut Granny Thread

Post by AutoshiteBoy »

http://aschat.freeforums.net/thread/190 ... o-on-beige

I've got to say, this thread is brilliant. I know some think it's boring, but it amuses the hell out of me. The time, effort and skill that's gone into it is amazing. I think its the best advert his employer could wish for. But why go to the effort of LHD?

I'm of the opinion that full on restos kill a cars original character (definition it must) but I think this is a case whereby rebuilt will be better than new.

Full credit to the bloke for his patience.

I like reading that thread along with CNDs 40 tonnes of boatshite and and his scimitar thread and the one about building a steam lorry- all of which serve to remind me how complex things are...

I've had a couple of left hand drive cars. It just gives it more character.

The threads mentioned above are the only ones I miss reading since getting banned. I could go read them as a guest, but I've no desire to give that site any traffic after the way the mods have behaved.

Owning a Range Rover that I have been ignoring for years that thread seriously gives me the fear!
