I have been looking for an s1 2 door for ages. they all seem to have dissolved, no point having a 4 door because I already have a RR. I want the 2 door disco as a load carrier. faced with a project the RR would be worth a little more at the end so why restore the poor old disco

BUT no self levelling suspension nor ABS nor AirCon nor 3.9 v8 option

Still would have a 2 door disco1, might even do it as a 200tdi :o 8-)
I know where there's a pretty good 300 Tdi 3-door. It's ex-red5, ex-gdhaydock, ex my ex, currently owned but generally being stored by a mate. He's done all the necessary welding on it, and it's got a rocketship of an engine, it's basically finished though so he'll not want to let it go cheap.
On the road:
1998 Disco 4.0 V8 (manual)
1994 Vauxhall Calibra 3.0 V6

Running but need fettling:

1986 Honda CBX750F
1991 Maserati 222 SE
1990 Yamaha XJ900F

Tax & MOT-exempt, woohoo!

1982 Suzuki GSX1100SZ Katana

The Disco I had years ago was an early 200Tdi, it was pretty rotten back in about 2005 when I had it. I liked it though & only sold it due to a scored bore & that I wasn't using it once I discovered motorbikes.

I had a 2 door Disco 1 V8 on carbs. Lovely.

Tomorrow I take my Disco TD5 for its MOT. I think this will either its 12th or 13th MOT under my ownership.

Nice work. The parts thing is a kicker - always when it's 'I'll crack on and do this now' type scenario.
