Control unit was broken/inop. So PO did a repair using about a mile of wiring and some manaul switches.
Which worked a bit, mostly.
Now it's mainly manual with just a single switch to pull hood down onto rear scuttle panel. Bit of a faff but all the extra wiring is coming out.
