No, though I remember that one too.

The place I'm thinking of, this was all at pedestrian level. Narrow uprights of glass between pebbledashed concrete, in a stepped zig-zag so that from walking down the street all you saw was concrete, walking up the street mostly multicolored glass but it was really dark, thick glass on what would be vivid colors if it were to be backlit (think old Lucas glass tail lights kind of way).
