When I first went to middle school that was opposite here back in the arse end of 1981 this Mk2 Jag, 297LAF, was parked in exactly the same spot it's in now. Over the last 40 years, it has had the bare minimum to keep it roadworthy.

40 plus years, that's amazing and not something I can readily equal in our area. There was a mouldering Alvis TD21 in a front garden for almost as long in the western suburbs of Southampton but that went several years ago.

There was a bloke came round our house one afternoon delivering something who mentioned my T25 was outside the house when he used to go to the Infant school next door....I suppose that must have felt like a lifetime to him.

Fantastic! Should be a preservation order on that. Or at least a non-molestation one.....

Ford Consul Capri on A370 Coronation Road, Bristol.
I've known it here for years and going by the comments on this Flickr post, it could have been there since 1982.

I used to drive a Consul Capri back in the 70's, borrowed it from a mate for a fair while. It was in grey primer with ten inch wide slot mags on the rear and smaller ones on the front. There were about four/five of those Capris in our custom car club, two got written off with one of them donating its 1500GT engine for transplant into my bubble arched Anglia. Which livened it up quite a bit. One day I may have to inflict photos of the Anglia onto you lot :-)

Yes please on the Consul Capri/Anglia pics....

In the meantime and on the P4 theme, Mrs Rocker tells me this is still resident on the estate where she grew up and has been there at least 25 years in that position......
