Going off that merc there must be money to be made in cat thefts.

I was down St. Mary's lighthouse the other day on the bike. There are always a few bikers down there congregating.
There was a copper on a big bike with no livery on it. He was also dressed in plain black gear. I thought he must be undercover. He did have on a luminous green tabbard with police written on the back. I did look twice and it was definitely police.
Why go plain clothes then wear that?
Could've been a fantasist like.
