I don't remember them as bigger tbh, but you'd know better than me. I guess the Polo was in the same sector as the Metro.

Back when Polos were small cars of course.

The Polo was never in the same sector as the Metro. If there were a market segment known as "Most hateful car ever built no really these things are even nastier than a Standard 8 " then the Polo would be in that one.

I had a breadvan, it was a decent enough little car & I preferred it to the Metro I'd had as the pedals where nearly in front of the driver rather than behind the radio.

Was it sun-faded maroon? They were all sun-faded maroon. I'm pretty sure that's what it was called in the brochure.
