No idea. My nearest local (Haconby) has been for sale for a while; there was talk of the village buying it, and I think I heard that there is some kind of help available. Am vague on details as I live 3 miles away.

Interesting to get 2 on eBay at the same time. You have to wonder about the airbag on the second one- there's probably a switch on the dashboard to activate it.

I really don't get that airbag being fitted unless it was a steering wheel that he wanted to use. I would have thought that it would make it less safe, even if you had the time to activate it, as God knows what effect it going off would have.

Airbags serve the purpose of punching you in the face, which ironically is what that modifier deserves anyway.

I removed the van's fuel sender that had been lovingly crafted in China, partly from a plastic that dissolves on contact with petrol. The gauge was going frantic as the thing danced about inside the tank and shorted out against the metal top. The white wire was simply bared and wrapped around the screw inside the black snotty insulating block.
I've redone it using fibre washers and a soldered ring terminal which I hope will withstand the lovely new fuel that we're to get next year. Another modification has been to change the cable around so that the gear change is sprung biased towards 2nd and top. The only way I could see to achieve it meant that the higher gears are away from you now, but it's worth getting used to the new pattern as it was all too easy to select reverse by mistake. My locking out device was not a success.
The fuel pick up pipe must be constricted but there's no way to get at it without desoldering it from the tank so before the sender goes back in I'm hoping I've come up with an easy fix. If successful I'll will be sending my clever idea into Practical Mechanics where it's sure to win a 'fiver'.

And here it is, the Luke warm tip. Undo the 1/8 bsp drain plug and mackle up a feed to a second filter. I plugged off the original tank outlet and hope this cures the blockages I've been getting. .

Note the crappy paint I used on the tank was as petrol resistant as the sender.
