I didn't realise they went dim. Saying that it's not very often I drive in the dark. I did have to pay for one for the sab at mot time. £46 iirc. The new one was half the brightness of the old one and I did ask how it passed it's mot like that. I got fobbed off and I can't remember why now.

Fuck me, I just want working headlights that let me actually see in the dark
Got the parking sensors painted up and fitted though!

Not sure yet, need the front bumper back on before I can test. I don’t think the rears will work on their own without the front connected.

Audi want £40 for an indicator bulb. There are two in each headlight!
I’ve ordered a single knock off one from eBay for £13 to replace one I was dicking about with, the rest can stay.

I think that those sort of cars are aimed at plumbers and other plutocrats.

I'm running around in the 107 atm. Cost me £56 to fill it the other day. I put the posh petrol in it by mistake.LynehamHerc wrote: ↑Tue Jan 04, 2022 11:55 am I think that those sort of cars are aimed at plumbers and other plutocrats.

One of the only saving graces of the V50 is how easy it is to remove a headlamp. No special tools needed and you can quite literally do it in less than 5 seconds.
That however doesn't extend to the sidelight bulbs. To do that you need fingers like a fucking Aye Aye or a stupidly long pair of long nose plyers, TWATS!
I do not envy you of that job on the Audi.
