What's The First Car You Remember Being Released?
For me, it has to be the facelift Mk3 Cortina and Capri II both from 1974.

9 years old and I avidly read everything about the new Zephyr in Dad’s Autocar magazine. Would still like one; black, bench seat, column change, V6. Definately a Zephyr though, no Zodiacs for this prole.

I'd just started comp.
I remember the advertising bill boards in London advertising Rover Sterlings. I'm guessing for the 827 launch in '87. My aunt had moved from Wardour Street to Marshall Street and I remember all the cars being clamped and uplifted. £70 to remove the clamp in the mid-late '80s.

Only one I can think of is the Focus MK1 - probably because the massive improvement in looks over the escort. Or the fiat multipla. Basically what I would have seen on top gear at the time.
