Re: Disco 3 and me
I had to do that on mine - bastards aren't they? Managed to do it by popping a couple of the plastic stud things and prising the liner out of the way just enough. No skin left on knuckles (agin) though.

Re: Disco 3 and me
So, compressor removed, eventually. Pipes all corroded to hell in push for connectors. They are all now on the list of service items for me.
Compressor rebuilt with the exception of one bolt previously overtightened. Filters and granules changed - absolutely sodden. New end cap etc etc.
As usual chassis mounts rotted. At least they are clip on.
So now she has working suspensiom, up, down, adaptive and access! Yay.
Rear arms, turbo actuator and parking sensor(another) next. Hmm..

Re: Disco 3 and me
Does anyone on here know anything about the air suspension compressors on the Disco 2?
Re: Disco 3 and me
Well, yes. This.
It drives superbly for a big old bus, the wife likes it, the kids live it. It's a van, towcar, bus.
Ah, that's why.
Re: Disco 3 and me
So,
To take the park sensors out and access the loom you need to remove the rear bumper cover.
Which entails -
Rear lamps out.
Mudflaps off. Which leads to wheels off.
Then rear 1/4-wheel arch trims off. Then bumper cover corners off.
Not without my kit, all safely* at work. Not on a L-R weighing in at 2.7 tonnes with slightly suspect air suspension.
So much squeezing of tiny hands into impossible places leads to RRInner sensor being removed without wheels off. New one plugged in at reading is immediiately 0.01M. FFS.
Harness rubbed through. So, now I need a 2 poster. We have 18 at work. I'm not allowed in to sole-work because of pen-pushers who don't understand distancing/sole-working safety.
It's driving me mad. 'Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee'
