HONDA JIZZ UPDATE
I seem to be throwing lots of cash at this at the moment. Conveniently, I have no problem loosing actual physical bank notes down at the dealer.
The "handbrake" warning light has started to come on occasionally when the handbrake was actually off. Investigation reveal that the fluid was low in the master cylinder, it would come on and you could make it go off under moderate braking. The surge wetting the level sensor thingy.
I put off filling it up as I was expecting to put new pads on and have the hassle of removing excess fluid when the piston were shoved back in. I took a closer look.
Wheel off
Er, minor leak. So wheel back on and reservoir topped up while a wait for a new pair to arrive. Both the front calipers are original although I have fitted 1 new piston and seal per side during my ownership/ 200k. I'll just chuck a fresh pair on like I did with the rears and eventually rebuild the old ones.
ABS wire plastic clip has broken too.
After that defeat, I took the OS rear wheel off to have a better look at that end of the car. Yup, need new pads that end and I'll get a pair of disks on too.
Ordered yesterday morning from a not too far away motor factors, shipped yesterday, arrived lunchtime.
Ordered 30/01 AM from France, shipped 02/02 AM, arrived 1h 40m after 1h time slot given (unusual for them to be fair) but suited me down to the ground because DPD Ireland's app is a big pile of wank compared to the UK version and I wasn't notified of any deliveries today and thus snoring my head off.
€94.20 delivered for a front pair. Great Bunch of Lads. The place that sold the disks were looking for double that.
Now on kitchen table waiting for the weekend.

TOOLAGE
It's getting a bit a of a hassle transporting my Clarke 3T jack around when required as it's a heavy steel bastard, so I thought I'd spunk some money away on another one, this time a bit lighter.
And with the Realtoe still work-in-progress hogging some of my axle stands, I solved that problem too with these.
What would I do without the Great Bunch of Lads?
It's getting a bit a of a hassle transporting my Clarke 3T jack around when required as it's a heavy steel bastard, so I thought I'd spunk some money away on another one, this time a bit lighter.
