Better if the socket is in the middle of the bar. More balanced turning force, less twisting. Needs two of you though.

Sometimes the impact beats the long bar, like the top nut on a strut that wants to turn the shock absorber.

I would, bar the fact that I wasted a lot of time on Saturday searching for my Makita charger in the shed. Then went out without and just had enough charge. Found it a couple of hours after I got back.

So I don't really want another charger to loose/find

Also, in my attempt not to loose it, I don't want to do this...

Made a twin port, 18v, dual, dewalt, pair docking station.

Fuck!

More like real effective length of 37" from the pivot. I'm not grumbling for ~£30. I'll test it eventually doing hub bearings on the car.

The other purchase (€64) was this other cheap made by the 'Great bunch of lads' set labelled "Pacini CT2071 - 31pc wheel bearing tool set". Seems to have enough sizes in it. £54 is nothing in these HYPERINFLATION days.

LAND ROVER 110

I've been working on the this the last number of weekends. A bad oil leak (TADTS) has been located as coming from the vacuum pump. Original engine had been replaced at some point with a 91/92 300 Tdi.

Yes, it looks like one of those wank aftermarket pump with the pop riveted cover. I'm leaning towards fixing it with bolts rather than buying another one.

Any other thoughts?
