Bloody hell!
At least the steering wheel doesn't seem to have moved much and the driver could get out.
I certainly wouldn't have like to have been in the back though.

Steering rack is mounted to the back of the subframe. So providing the subframe doesn't move, it'll be alright. I suspect because it got shunted underneath the higher car in front, the engine possibly got ripped off its bonded rubber mountings and left the rest of the subframe to be pushed underneath the car in front. So the rack stayed where it was.
