I had a Herald when they were cheap cars. Paid £150 with a years MOT. It drank more oil than petrol and the rear tyres both had slow punctures. It took three of us to Manchester and back for the weekend quite happily. It was rather like driving around in a tent.
I sold it at the beginning of summer for £200 to a bloke who was going to unbolt the roof for some topless fun.

The garage I worked for in the mid 90's used to look after that stupid mare Germaine Greer's Herald and I had the pleasure of working on it. Poxy piece of shit had the doors fly open whenever you went round a corner there was so much flex in the thing.

They’s missed a trick with the wheels on that X1/9 tricycle.
These OEM 3 spokes would match the front wheel perfectly.*

If I remember correctly these Fiats used to fold in half, I think one of Colin Chapman's daughters was injured like that. Maybe that was why there was a spare back end that was subsequently bastardised into that abortion.

Quite handily, though, they've incorporated an NHS waiting-area bench to take into A&E with you.
