I would love to know the story behind it. Kew Chryslers were very popular, I expect someone running an Airflow squirreled it away in the 1960's and the car and the owner are both long gone.

I don't disagree. But it is still unbelievable the amount of money that changes hands to do so.

Texted my cousin about this. He reckons somebody can buy the jag for two grand, raffle it and make three. Clear grand profit.

Some of you may know that the Datsun I own was purchased last year from Sam. He owns around 50 cars, I enjoyed looking around his collection very much. I should think he enjoys the benefits of family money in some fashion, though I wouldn't know quite how. I found him to be a reliable enough fella to deal with, he kept his word and wasn't put off by a little bargaining.
