The list of decent bikes four and half bags would buy should be affixed to the vendor's head with a rusty nail.

£4,550 - OR NEAR OFFER

Description
1952 bsa bantam d1 . You will never find another.(Hopefully)

perfect for a museum. (of horrors)

perfect for a collection with other bikes (?)

Hard to believe you could make a 4 bhp D1 Bantam more feeble than it originally was, but this prick has managed it.
Nice detail on the front number plate, and it doesn't appear to bother with a gearbox. The front brake is connected to the left lever, though you could attach the cable to your knob for all the good they do.
That is comedy Gold - google found another attempt to sell it, including more gems -

EVERYTHING WORKS , THE ONLY THINGS LEFT TO DO IS WIRE UP THE HORN . IT ALSO NEEDS A DIGITAL SPEEDO.

So not actually everything then, you tool

RUNS ON DIESEL ,BUT YOU COULD RUN IT ON CHIP OIL OR CHEAP VEG OIL.

Should appeal to some of the veg tendency over on the beige then.

It doesn't auger well that the builder was incapable of attaching a piece of wire to the horn. Looking at that sprocket I'd guess at a top speed approaching 16mph, I think I'll give the cunt a call to ask him.

Update, emails only so I await a response re top speed.

Reminds me of that episode in the West Country when local newspapers first launched a phone-in classified ad. service.

Up for sale that week was a "Marse Miner"......

I've been giving serious consideration to getting a Marse myself as it happens.
