I like the six-wheel-ness, but why ruin the front like that?

If you were made to dress up like that would you want people to recognise your face?

This will send a few peoples teeth here itching. Thankfully most of it should be easy to undo.

I was thinking about Rollers and Bentleys last night when tinkering in the garage on the 1100. Problem is, even though I have a double garage to work in now, it would barely fit. Then there is the trouble of all my lifting kit needing upgrading to lift one up.

It's a cheap way of pissing people off, too. A bloke at work got a modest pay out for an injury claim that dragged on for about 5 years and should never have had to go to arbitration or get solicitors involved. As I say, it wasn't a lot - less than 5 grand. First thing he did was swap his old Saab for a Silver Spirit which I seem to recall became terminally unable to proceed after a few months. Sure did piss the management off, though, which is all he wanted out of it.

I can vouch for this. I used my mate's slightly tatty Shadow for a couple of days and swept imperiously into the car park at the same time as the guy who fills up the coffee machine, which is next to my desk. No sooner had I gone in and fired up the computer than he came through the door, looked me in the eye and muttered "you fuckers get paid too much". Never had the heart to tell him it had been £3600 out of a farm auction..
