PD engines are good for 200k plus miles with average neglect. A good shout for low earners needing reliable commutage.

He is apparently bank rolling the replacement car as Ghosty is out of money after the Honda blowing up.
WHS.

That's how I ended up with my mk7 Cvic after the Doloshite shat it's clutch hydraulics and starter motor on the same day. I was living about 20 miles from my parent's place at the time and asked if I could borrow their garage and get a lift to work for a couple of days until a new starter/clutch cylinder arrived.

24 hours later Dad dragged me out to a dealership a few miles away, pointed at a 2005 Civic and said "that's yours, don't break this one". I then proceeded to break it repeatedly, it still holds the record as being the car I've spend the most money maintaining (until I pay for the Doloshite's new engine)...

Fuck dat VAG shit.

Super clean MOT history and he's had it for sale FOREVER so a decent bid will buy this lovely old thing.

I've based 35 years of motoring on a core of £1500 German motors. Doing so has enabled me to waste most of the rest of my money on dissolving British tin.
