I think I can smell that interior from here.... Not in a good way.

£2500 doesn't buy a running MOT'able Mark 2 Escort now.

I suspect that Spirit is hiding some nasty issues and having one big old V8 engine in bits is enough for me.

My old Spirit changed hands again at the end of last year for about a grand more than I sold it for so at least it is getting looked after. If I have another I quite fancy a Mulsanne turbo next it is just hard to find the right car and a parts supplier who isn't in it to rip you off. When I had my last one there was a guy suppling parts at good rates but he was driven out of business.

A mate of mine has been maintaining an early Spirit in his garage in Mold. Its just sold for about £2.5 and was useable. I bottled it.

I meant to put this on when the listing was current but didn't get around to it. I just got that stupid eBay notification to let me know that unfortunately I have missed this one etc etc, and no wonder with pictures of this quality. (Actual size) These things just sell themselves, it was probably the extra economical 2 wheel drive model as well.
