I seem to remember Practical Classics re-engined a Dolomite with one as well.
There's a couple of moggys with mx5 engines too, seems to be a bit of a go to for modern engines being rearwheel drive and all. Plus you can get a rotten mx5 for next to nowt, usually with a decent enough engine/running gear.
