Just gone through the current V112 form but I can't find it, there was definitely a category it came under previously.Eddie Honda wrote: ↑Sat Dec 05, 2020 8:18 amFunny how one of the hearses (R700 CCM - numberplate obfuscation award) has a whole back catalogue of MOT tests then.
Is it exempted by use or did the concession get knocked on the head years ago??

Mibbie in back in nineteen-canteen? I've no idea.
Only suggestion is if the exemption is by use rather than vehicle type - like plod.

Re: EBay Finds
Isn't there an exemption dating back to seventeen hundred & frozen to death that hearses can ignore traffic lights too? I think it was due to a small pox outbreak?

I've got a friend who's an undertaker and he says funeral cars aren't MOT exempt. In fact, new lims and hearses are a pain to MOT as the stretching process makes the CANBUS wiring through a shit fit.

I remember seeing footage of IRA terrorist funerals in the mid 80s and they were still using Austin A135/Princess?Sheerline hearses.

Aye. In Get Carter it was pre-war Rolls Royces with impressive cylinder bore wear.
