Does anyone know what the 'Town' and 'Country' functions are on the radio? Where's Junkman when you need him.

My barber has one of these - a 1958 though, same colour but a convertible. Fucking awesome car. Anyhoo, the radio settings are both station-seeking buttons. "Town" will find the next radio station frequency whereas "Country" will find the strongest signal and disregard fainter transmissions. Its so you don't get bothered with broadcasts of lower quality...... The convertible, by the way, has the full Ford Skyliner-type rear-hinged trunk and servo top-lowering just with a canvas rather than steel roof. It still has the breezeaway rear window as well. Like I said, fucking awesome!

GWR.

My Grandad was a Station master and the inside of the house was painted in those colours.

I see not putting a price in the advert is the latest craze. Idiots.

That's a sure way to ensure I'd never enquire about the item, if you don't know what you want for it then I'm not wasting my time speaking to you.

Aye. You can't be the buyer and the seller. Like these turds who put up an advert saying 'just testing the water' and it 'might not be for sale'. Timewasting chancers.

You can tell where that deluded Minx pedlar sees his level when he estimates that it will "break for thousands". I fail to see more than a few hundreds in it but I assume there's an equally deluded Minx Millionaire needing a couple of wobby wings....
