The Capri and U.K. spec Mk2 Granny’s were always said to have 160 bhp , as did the XR4i and early XR4x4. That could have been PS , I suppose, Ford were never averse to making the figures look as good as possible.
When the Mk3 Granada came out, it had some half arsed electronic injection that reduced the power to 150 bhp, the Capri never got this , nor did it get the 2.9 which brought the power back to 160 .

Actually, 160bhp for the injected 2.8 and 140 for the carb fed example.

I wonder what fil's hard top version's worth since he ripped the v12 out and put a 2.7 diesel terrano engine in.
I still haven't seen it. He couldn't find the garage keys the last time I was there. Partner reckons his home made trike is a joy to behold.
