The Market Garden where I had a Saturday job, when at school, had a fleet of Farinas.
Some as Farina intended, which were used as crew buses with a 15 year old driving 7 other 14 & 15 year olds crammed into the car, out along the field tracks to plant or cut lettuces or brussel sprouts.
Some cut down to make pickups with a flat bed, to carry the seedling lettuces, driven by a 17 year old as obviously more care needs to be taken of lettuce seedlings than boys....
Round the back of the poly-tunnels was a grave yard of Farinas ready to be cannibalised.

"And you tell the kids of today...etc."

Not sure what's easiest here - getting 10K together or finding a use for it. I suppose you could always cruise round like Elvis in his Crown Electric days.

Flippin' love it though.....One of the last ones, amazing how long they lasted in production.

Another crappy hearse in Barcelona. No test or insurance on it will make it hard to drive home.

That made me go ‘oof!’ Then I read the description. Rover V8 and 5 speed box. Lovely.

Mate had an FD with the Rover and 5 speed. Made a very nice ride. Much as I dislike Minilites - WTF is it with those fucking things - the ride height and filled arches make that estate car look like they should have done new. Just need to sort the number plate font and tighten up those wonky Square 8s......
