Two wheels good.

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

I've just purchased a new 452 Enfield Himalayan for less than some Alpino's are advertised for!

Test rode a 452 on Friday.

So pleased that it feels very similar to ride as the 411 I own, but with much more power. Build quality is also much better, although in 20,000 miles, my 411 has been 100% reliable, and nothing has broken.
Bye bye 411.jpg

I scored very low on the autie test. I’m cheerful, happy, confident, like meeting new people, chatty and largely sociable. What the fuck am I doing on this forum?

Used the Calimoto motorcycle GPS app which has a round trip facility. I set a 100 mile trip on winding roads and this is what I got.

112 miles, three hours mostly on roads I’ve never ridden before. A lot of the time I had no idea where I was, just riding. Really enjoyable. Nowhere to go and all day to get there. ;)

Is Calimoto really any good in you experience? Say in comparison to Google,Waze, etc

I use a TomTom Rider Sat Nav, but the Enfields dash links up to a phone, so don't have to use it on this bike.

It’s very good if all you want to do is get somewhere on winding roads. It’s not as good as google maps if you’re in a hurry as it doesn’t take traffic into account when route planning. It’s horses for courses really depending on whether you’re in a hurry or not.

Rarely in a hurry these days.

Seems the Enfield only works with Google maps, but I'll download Calimoto and try it out on the Triumph.
