Two wheels good.

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

What's wrong with that? If I get hit by a car my skin will come off just the same as yours.

Yeah the importance of good kit was the main thing I took from my CBT. Falling off at pretty much any speed will hurt but at least with decent kit you shouldn't come out of it looking like you had a fight with a cheese grater.

The line I always used to say to my pupils was "buy leather, the cow's already dead and won't scream again".

My 14 is being a needy bitch and demanding attention. She broke Monday with a C28 error code. That's the secondary throttle valve actuator fact fans. Running like an utter bag of shite too as the secondary throttles were staying shut and choking it of air.

I've started working through it to find the problem. Every test in the workshop manual tells me it's working and I've proved there's signal to the ECU. That only leaves a known quirk* where one of the magnets falls out of the motor. The motor is in the middle of the throttle bodies and one of the long bolts holding them together is seized. Currently I've left it soaking in plus gas as it'd be an utter pain to sort if it did snap.

After that success* I washed the other two outdoor bikes and glued a loose grip back in place on the Hornet.
