Two wheels good.

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

I should have done it at 17 - it was easy then, and I'd already done the exact same test when I was 16 on "sports" moped - but I got a van to avoid killing myself on my 250.
You'd be surprised how often I used to hear this!

Helping a mate sort her 125 Intruder for its MOT today.

Fork seals fitted, then throttle cables replaced as one has seized. Discovered the front tyre is fitted backwards! Bet that's been like it a while as it's date coded 2007. Sidewalls are cracking too so it needs replacing. Sticky front brake sorted too.

Put it all back together and it's lost it's spark... Bloody thing. It'd got to 6pm as I didn't get there till lunch so gave up for the night.

Backwards? 2007? Sticky front brake?

Obviously not riding the Suzuki Anal Intruder (hard) enough.

She's only ridden on the road about 6 times, hence sorting it out to get her riding more.

Bloody thing just won't start. I can't find anything wrong, although I can't see a spark if I take a plug out. I've been through it as best I can following the manual, but I don't have a peak voltage setting on my multimeter for a couple of the tests.

Got the battery on charge currently, it seems to spin over fine but was only showing 12.01v so a little lower than I'd like. I've known stuff in the past that hates to spark without a perfect battery so it's worth a try

£500 and an Xbox?

I take it you've checked the side stand cut out switches?

Spins over but won't spark. So it's not those cut out switches, good call though. I've gone as far as I can with testing, power arrives at the right places and crank sensor is giving the right resistance. Plugs get wet so it's fueling.

I've called it a bastard and left it for now.
