Mlor has put me off that particular example. I should have persevered with the GS650GT I sold earlier this year.
These old sheds are becoming thin on the ground for sensible money within 300 miles of here.

It had been off the road since 1991.
I rebuilt the carbs but couldn't get it to run right and got fed up climbing passed it in the garage. Also sold a CB750 for similar money a few months ago.

I don't suppose you've got a Z1 that you're planning on selling in a few months for £500 have you?

My starter was tempremental but it could be bump started easily when warm. If it was cold then wedging the cap off a Bob Heath visor spray aerosol behind the spring loaded choke slider to keep it open helped a lot.
TADTS. Shagged rollers in the starter clutch. Needs a case split to do. Cunt to push start cold with fairing and full luggage. Generally will catch when warm...until it doesn't.

Oddly enough, the easiest proper bike I've had to bump start from cold was an FZR600EXUP. A couple of paces is all it takes.
