Re: Two wheels good.
The weather is lovely here this morning. I'm very tempted to go for a blast.
It's only points and a fine right?

Re: Two wheels good.
If I get caught that is.
When I went out last week or whatever I pulled out from the junction straight behind a liveried copper xc90. You couldn't make it up. I followed him for a few miles down the coast and fucked off through Cullercoats. You never ever see cop cars and the first time I do something illegal there's a fucker there. Never one when you want a fucker though.

Re: Two wheels good.
Is it a legal requirement to have mirrors on a bike? The C90 doesn't have any and the boy has lost one of his.

Re: Two wheels good.
It's probably just me. Also doesn't help that the peg to lower stand is slightly bent outwards. When you put your foot on the plate to push it down, that hits the floor before the stand. Will bend it round with sone heat and report backWarren t claim wrote: ↑Sat May 21, 2022 11:31 pmIt should be better balanced than that. I've seen a petite lady but a BMWK100 brick on it's centre stand.

No.
C&U1986 Regulation 33(1), Table 2, item 5.
https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/198 ... rrors/made
and as such, not a MOT testable item.
When I was despatching my MZ, I cracked the mirror on the offside. Not having handed threads, I moved the nearside one over to the offside and just used one. When that came a cropper I just ran without. You will without fail do a shoulder check then.

Re: Two wheels good.
50 miles might have appeared on the clock today. I've been getting the odd nod off proper bikers down the coast.
Only had three cars pull out on me today not to mention how bad driving standards are in general. You've got to be on the button and look miles ahead. I love the bike though. I got it up to 50 at one point. I reckon it'll do the clock (60). It did jump from 3rd to 2nd gear a couple of times which was worrying till I realised the heel of my boot was resting on the down selector ffs. Frightened the shit out of me when it did it.
The 50 miles used less than half a tank too. Way better on fuel than the boy's vision.

Likewise I struggled with my Dad's Commando until he showed me the correct technique and where to push down on the centre stand when it suddenly became easy.. doesn't mean something foreign doesn't need you to lift the entire bike up though....Warren t claim wrote: ↑Sat May 21, 2022 11:31 pmIt should be better balanced than that. Re: Two wheels good.
Rode from Czechia, where I have been since Thursday, to Hlohovec in Slovakia today. Met up with friends I haven't seen for two years (poxy Covid), some riding from Turkey and Latvia. Its like the last two years never happened.
Gobsmacked at how many bikes were out on the roads in Slovakia today, 1000's of them. Must be a really buoyant economy, seeing as most were big cruisers or Adventure bikes, and the weather keeps the biking season short (April to October)
Great roads, really well surfaced once out of Czechia. Weather also been great, sunshine all tye way
