I was pleasantly surprised on the way home with it, its just a stopgap but it'll do for now, and yeah re Pan's, I'm not paying 4k for a 20 year old one.

Aye I occasionally see Pans for sale & think I'd have made money if I kept mine longer. Except of course I wouldn't as I'd have used it & it'd look it age.

The mechanism for the fuel switch is missing and the fuel gauge has stopped working, I haven't got a clue what mileage to fill up at.
Putting it on reserve will involve stripping bodywork to get to the tap, probably on a duel carriageway as that is what 99% of my commute consists.

Overall, I am loving it.
I don't think I've ever had a bike where the fuel gauge was anywhere near accurate.

You're not a real bier until you've put a bike on reserve whilst it's moving only to pull your hand back only to find that you no longer have a glove on, it's flapping while jammed in the fuel tap mechanism.

I'm not a real biker then. But I have gone to put the bike on reserve to find the fuel tap vanished inside the bike as soon as I touched it. Which was handy in the outside lane of a busy M25.

Let's all take a moment to take in the fact that our colonial cousins call a fuel tap a petcock.

Having a look at the now non working indicators on the red c90.
I've found what I think is the flasher relay. I'm only getting power to one wire when I put the ignition on. Activating the indicator switch on the handle bars does nothing.
Any ideas?

I'm not getting anything going to or from the switch at the handle bars.
I'm I right in thinking the flasher unit is fucked?
