Very much cunts.

What a load of fiddly fuck on that was. The van key was loose and slack af and you couldn't read the symbols. My fingers aren't dexterous enough for this shit. Anyway £3 from ebay and 15mins I now have a new van key.

Should be there.

Came up to the house with a scanner, jumped in the car and fucked off , all within a minute according to Ring camera over the road.
His Mrs is having my X3 for a few days and I’ll be rattling round in a bloody Defender, doesn’t seem a good idea to tempt fate by her using a 2012 Defender, would probably last less than one night.
What’s the best way to avoid that happening?

Keys in a safe under the stairs?
Disc lock on the wheel?
Park in a locked garage?
Sell Golf and buy Kia Pocanto?

Bought this last night. Not a bad old thing 1.4 petrol on a '57 plate. It belonged to a friends late father and hasn't been used for a while so needs a few jobs doing. They reported the clutch slipping on the mot but I am told it isn't (I think I will believe the mot tester on that one. Not sure if I will keep it or flog it on yet. I will have to sell the little Skoda if I keep this.

All of the above !

The fact that he put his wife’s previous Golf R Estate on its roof in a field 18 months ago means a Kia Picanto is all they’ll be able to insure next time.
His Sprinter is much better protected, but as he said, he’d rather them take the car than wake up to some Luton Gangsta holding a machete to his throat demanding the keys . He lives in rural Beds and the Police reckon it’s a gang from Luton that’ll probably use it to rob an ATM.

That's shite about that Golf. I hope karma catches up with those cunts.

I did an oil change on the A8 today.

Thank fuck I have discovered Mannol oil as it takes about 8.5 litres and would otherwise have been very expensive!

The last oil change was done 2 owners ago in August using an extractor through the dipstick. I'm not convinced this worked properly though as the lance on my Pela was clearly not reaching the sump and was blocked by some kind of baffle. The same thing happens with the Saab.

The sump plug is a fucking huge big thing with my biggest Allen bit fitment, something like 20mm? Anyway, no chance of that rounding so off it came and the oil lashed out through the large opening and drained in about 20 seconds.

The oil filter is right on top of the engine in the vee and is a 32mm socket.

So basically the easiest oil change ever.

I'll need to get a cheap laptop and download the VCDS I was given although I was completely confused on how to do it the last time I tried. The service indicator needs this to be reset.

Ordered a service kit for the van. I think it's well over due as the last twice I paid for the fucker it wasn't done.

Also got this pressure vessel bracket and retainer from the plumbing merchants. It comes with a very large jubilee clip. The cv boot on the passenger side has come off again even though I paid for the fucker to be fixed properly. Cunts.
