Sold the TT tonight ended up getting £1950 for it which was just £50 less than the original asking price, very pleased with that. It's still in the layby outside my house until Saturday but the new owner has the keys and ownership is already transferred so its now nothing to do with me 😬 He couldn't leave behind the 26tonne Scania curtainsider he turned up in.

The TT would have gone in, though?

I actually did something! I received the new wheel bolts for the Jag yesterday so I charged up the impact driver that I have had for years and never used and went out and changed one wheel bolt! It was a struggle to be honest as the old one was mullared and I had to come inside and find an 18mm socket after prising the cover off again... I should never have put the sodding thing back on.

Windy gun thing was brilliant and undid the old one no bother and put the new one on. Then, I had a panic and had to find the torque setting (92 lb ft) for the wheel bolts, find my torque wrench that has also been unused for bloody years (though I had wound it back to zero the last time I used it about 12 years ago!) and it took longer to wind the sod up to 92 than it did to check/adjust the torque of the bolts themselves.

I even remembered to reset it to zero. What a proud moment :)

4 more. 5 bolts per wheel on Jags as I'm sure you are aware as your 308 is the bloody same!

I thought you were only changing the locking nut on each wheel.

I do most heartily apologise if I've misread previous posts old bean.

No, strangely the locking nuts are fine it was just one of the standard pain in the arse wheel bolts that fucked up. It has been attacked with hammer and chisel by the mechanic at the garage who I think, thought the covers came off (they don't, they are integral) and so that nut was fooked. I bought five but am lazy...

Not what I did but what what some Scrooge’s did.
My brother sent me this picture at 07.00 with the caption “ What’s missing from this picture?”

Should be there.

Came up to the house with a scanner, jumped in the car and fucked off , all within a minute according to Ring camera over the road.
His Mrs is having my X3 for a few days and I’ll be rattling round in a bloody Defender, doesn’t seem a good idea to tempt fate by her using a 2012 Defender, would probably last less than one night.
