The Dark Wob

Regards my stripping if the spares van. I was talking today to my wife about how I'd lost 150 on the purchase but I then remembered all the parts I'd took off it I had forgot a few more things. Starter, alternator,power steering pump and steering rack. My rack has a leak so I've got a dry rack with no signs of leaks,set of hoses and a pump. Surely all that and the doors and glass far outweigh the 150 quid loss.

If the Mercedes was popping out from Beracha (spelling?) road about 2:30 then that was me. Bella was on the front seat while Chester was at home fast asleep in the sunshine. Why you no toot or wave or summat? Have I upset you...again!?

It was then and I did wave and said "that's Dave" to my Mrs and SiL who were in the car. You were looking straight through me, and no you're not upset me recently....

Really? I MUST try harder I read somewhere on here that you might need a car? You can borrow the Merc if you need it, the Jag is booked in to TQ1 (where you saw me) so unavailable.

Not many I grant you but...

I'm grateful for the alternator as I had a warning light make an appearance this evening.

Hurrah for warning lights.

Nit so grateful now as the alternator was dead. Spent an hour or so outside in the dark to find it out. Engine was dead in spare van so never tested it.

There's an embuggerance.

At least you got a choice for hand in as an exchange unit.

Sure its not a fault elsewhere in the wiring?

Usually the regulator pack which is a lot cheaper and easier to change.
