Warm the engine up first to make the oil flow more easily.

Ben
What will I use to warm it up?
Will an electric fan heater do?
Dunno, why don't you ask a heating engineer?

Ben
It'd need to be a bespoke custom design.

I do apologise Rainman.

It'd need to be a bespoke custom designed solution.

Rough old Merc in today. I think I had better replace these brake pipes. The o/s/f is just starting to leak by the look of it.

That's definitely got worse very quickly.
This was o/s/f 10th Dec when I had the wheel off to weld up the suspension height sensor arm. Didn't look like it was leaking then and I didn't want to even touch it for fear of breaking it.

When it gets warmer, I want to get the wheels back off to rust treat and paint that suspension leg. It's solid but won't be if left untreated.

Just been off the blower. I think this one has been a bit of a 'mare for Panhard65 🫣

One of the ruddy great big front 4-pot calipers has a bleed nipples that was snapped before he got to that corner. Merc only part and an exchange caliper coming from them. Going to take a few days for it to arrive.

The Merc has been a bit of a nightmare but nothing compared to the cunt with the VW Transporter. I go out of my way to find a cheap way around the failed body computer for him and when he picks it up he starts moaning. I personally did nothing to the van other than spending ages hunting parts and taking it to a supposed specialist to have the secondhand BCM fitted and recoded. First of all he moans as it has signs of a fluid leak on the floor. I hadn't noticed but it looks like it may be heater matrix. Obviously this is my fault, then he is moaning as one of the steering column cowls has been scratched again not my fault but probably done by the bloke I farmed it out to. The bloke has also cracked the speedo cluster cover. Now I am £220 out of pocket paying for the job and can't get hold of the bloke who did it. Why I fucking bother trying to help people I don't know, at the moment I feel like telling him just to fuck off and never come back as he has annoyed me so much. It cost him £220 if he paid for it to have a job done that VW would of charged 3 to 4 times more for. They also wouldn't of fitted a used part only new at £650 with no delivery date. He has right pissed me off now.

That sounds deeply unpleasant, as they say: 'No good deed shall go unpunished'

I don't really want to hit like as it doesn't feel right to like that situation.

At least being the business owner, you have that power to tell them to Foxtrot Oscar.
