Yeah I would have been better off doing that.....Were it not for my OCD of having something working if it's meant to!

Nothing very exciting but my poor old 806 sprang a leak on the radiator last week so today was time to fix it.

Having a ramp makes things far easier but having a broken bumper with seized mountings didn't help.

One of the reasons it goes so well is the bloody great specialist intercooler.

All back together now and just warming it up, next up a battery on the Auris as all the standing around has buggered the 12 volt battery and it won't fire up the main battery unless the 12v has enough juice in it.

That intercooler looks like something off FAB1. I had forgotten how fate-tempting your reg. was as well until I saw this thread!

You might not like tomorrows Bentley update then as I have had the V5 arrive today so I can put my Private plate on it which is A666HGF.

I bought the K666 when I had the Senator hearse as it was cheap and made a bit of sense on a hearse. At the same time I asked the DVLA about A666HGF which they said wasn't for sale but 6 months later put it on an auction. I felt a bit bad about it so bought it as well. It was a bit dearer but still not silly money. I had it on my last Silver Spirit and it was on My Porsche as well. I am not superstitious at all but its is surprising how much it can unsettle other people especially when it is on a hearse.

With a strategic bolt head you could make it 6.66 or one hundredth of the number of the beast...

I made the under bonnet light on my E32 work today. I was that fucking bored. It was a broken wire where the bonnet loom passes up from the front panel into the bonnet, two hours of taking the grilles out, pulling the loom out, cutting, rejoining and taping. And now it shines like a newly minted sixpence up a sheep's arsehole. I IS PLAESED
