Not been thrown out! It was actually a joint decision. Early 80s ABI monza supreme 1400ct 4 berth. Back in the 80s this must have been quite well equipped with oven, hot water heater and double glazing. A bit rough in places but all works. Had 240v fitted at some point along with water pump system instead of the foot pump which is still in place. Bathroom wash basin has been removed years ago which is no hardship either. I need some towing mirrors and a snake bar then all set. Towed it from tamworth and towed lovely. Weighs less than 900kg too.

Re: What did you do today?
I done bought a spare V4 engine for the Saab over the weekend- I shall take a piccy with me new phone tonight. I stuck some white spirit down the bores but it wouldn't budge. I also chucked plenty over the valve gear. I was a trifle surprised as there was a fair dollop of oil left in it.
Any other thoughts? Or shall I just tweak the crank every few days and see what happens.
I thought I might purchase the parts and treat it to a rebuild to stage 2 rally spec, Not cheap!
