Re: What did you do today?
I did my Disco headlining at the end of the summer last year. Feel free to ask for worthwhile* advice.

Hahha.
Enjoy stretching it back to fit then? I didn't recover my D2 one, just painted it black, badly.
That's from my friend's Frontera- fixing water ingress

That two poster looks a bit of a balancing act, unless I'm missing something.

Re: What did you do today?
That's standard disassembly for many mid engined Ferraris. It's why they appear to break their back in a big accident.
Looks like a lot of intensive work to do, but actually makes them easier to work on. A lot of work to get to that point but you then have full access on the parts you need to work on/change out.
Lamborghinis tended to need the complete engine and gearbox pulled as one. This is much harder to do with a lot more to disconnect. Also risk of damage when you've got an engine + gearbox dangling off a crane.

Mr Haynes personal XJ220 going in for some work. Similar-ish trick. (Large image, CBA to resize)
F50 at the Haynes garage also going in for some routine maintenance.

That lift looks pretty bespoke - I would imagine it bolts on somewhere.
