It's a 1995 diesel automatic. 40k miles and in really nice condition. Slow but pretty economical. Went to Paris in her last year without missing a beat. When I rescued her I out 4 new Yokohama tyres on, new radiator, brake hoses, front shocks and loads of other bits. Passed its MOT with no advisories. Has a slightly clicky CV joint, I have a new shaft but it's too cold to go out and fit it. I'd like a grand for it as it's a lovely car and totally rust free.

Front tyres on the Doblo were getting low on tread, and both showed more wear on the inner edge.

What I didn't notice until the fitter got it on the ramp and showed me, was the severe, and quite deep, cracks on the sidewalls of all four.

BF Goodrich tyres, made in Poland in week two of 2019, fitted on 12th Feb 2019, and fucked up by the sun in less than 3 years.

In about 2010 I had a set of brand new landsails (I know) fitted to my v70. If failed the 2nd mot with them on due to cracking. Plenty of tread left but they were fucked.
Fucking ebay.

Spent hours fucking about gettin the driver's seat into a position that is both comfortable and changes the angle my stupid foot works the throttle at. The seat has been up at the front, down at the front, up at the back, down at the back, up completely, down completely...

Finally to a position that seems to work okay and is reasonably comfortable :)

Actually spent about 5 minutes doing it but Chester reckoned it was hours as he was waiting to go to the park!

It's probably a dog that gave Einstein the idea of time being relative. Ours herd us towards the door.
