Look on the bright side, you're still alive, although things really do go downhill once you reach 50, especially if you have Northern genes.

I had something similar. I think it was a Lincoln version.mercrocker wrote: ↑Wed May 11, 2022 9:41 amI remember them! I had a Duesenberg with the rotary controls being the sidemounted spares. Mum got it for me one Christmas and then moaned about dusting it.....paulplom wrote: ↑Wed May 11, 2022 6:57 am The sound of that radio brings back memories. Does it have rds?
I had a John Player Special f1 car that was a radio and took square 9v batteries.

I spent many nights listening to it in bed. It used to eat the batteries though.

Re: What did you do today?
Just order a shit load of service items (filters, oil, discs and pads) for the Ibiza. Actually got them cheaper from Halfrauds than CP4L or ECU. Collect tomorrow, let's see if they do a better job of supplying the correct parts than ECP usually do.
On the down side, Halfrauds web site is wank. Why you have to confirm store and collection days for each item is beyond me, doesn't half piss you off.

My local Halfords in Hereford get their parts from ecp, so the same chance of the wrong part turning up.BusmansHoliday wrote:Just order a shit load of service items (filters, oil, discs and pads) for the Ibiza. Re: What did you do today?
I've been getting some practice with trailers the past couple of days as I'm up at the parents' farm.
First, a ton bag of sand on Monday:
Then this morning it was collecting firewood with the tractor:
Followed by a roughly 60 mile roundtrip with this arrangement to drop off a sofa at my sister's house, then remove the old one:
