Re: What did you do today?
It was indeed seemingly just a blown plug and slightly lifted head.
I'll update the thread in due course but it didn't explode on the run home, 30 miles a fair chunk on the motorway.
Sketchy as fuck. The fuel line fell off by the rear axle and was resting on the exhaust, headlights wouldn't work, one windscreen wiper, battery too big for the hold down, fuel pump activated by spade connectors under the dash, no door rubbers, no weather stripping, no door handles, bumper irons exposed for shinning pedestrians.

Re: What did you do today?
Well done Cap, good work there
I got the Jaaaag back, so after all my whinging and moaning about it yesterday it's all done (Genuine Jaguar sensors at £185 for the pair) and working perfectly. No confetti inside the petrol gauge still three-quarters full and the mileage exactly where it should be. So I owe the owner a virtual apology for all the paranoia I exhibited yesterday.
Painted beautifully to match and much more sensitive (like the Mercs now) than before even when they were working so the old ones really were dodgy/on their way out, long before I got the car. Car all washed (they really do a good job on the washing front, I'm going to take it back every week so it gets a decent clean!)
However, her royal pain in the arse really let the side down by being utterly manic and jumping all over the place and the people in it, no idea why, she was fine when she/they went for a walk earlier. Got home and she's still utterly insane and jumping everywhere including over the bloody wall (though only if she suspects I'm going outside and jumps back in straight away when she realises I'm not).
Due to this behaviour, I am now wearing two more plasters on my arms as blood dripping from your fingertips is never a good look unless you're going after a part in a Zombie movie!

Amazes me they are more known, that's the same performance as an early ovlov T4 in the S/V40. I bet the Rover is more comfy too.
