US$10k.
That's the "easy ceiling", whereby it takes a lot more work to get any significant gain.
From here on up the car needs to be OEM show car quality to become worth any more.
I dunno about shipping the Sprite right now.. that's always a worry plus the thing has taken to not running so that does out a dampener on it.
I would probably drop the change into the Plymouth.
Have a handy diagram to show how this car would stand in terms of work needed versus value:
I bought it at the first X and have taken it to the second.

It's worth what someone would want to pay for it.DodgeRover wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 5:48 pm I would have thought it would have been worth GB£10k here

That's spot on accurate chart for a Dolomite Sprint at the moment! Completely true and reminds me that I shouldn't overdo the repairs it needs.PhilA wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 5:31 pm US$10k.

Sprite can't be a whole much to get it running, only a A-Series after all! When you do come back here next and if you want to get it running/on the road, the offer of plenty of nearby tools is there still.

I would put "MoT'd" somewhere between Nice Daily and Weekender in terms of USA standards- this would need a few bushings doing and the slop in the steering remedied before it would pass. It would pass in 1977.SiC wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 5:59 pmThat's spot on accurate chart for a Dolomite Sprint at the moment! Appreciate the offer of assistance- I think it's either bad points or sticky floats causing the non-starting, so an afternoon of tinkering would get it going. I think the brakes .. well, they used to work.

Re: What did you do today?
Futher to that, I have seen a number of vintage vehicles being driven around here sans-inspection, because people think (and the cops, seemingly) that an antique vehie is exempt automatically. Some of them definitely on the "fixable" plateau; that is only correct for a vehicle plated ANTIQUE, which is for occasional pleasure use (book states light weekend use and driving to shows), under 1000 miles per year and must be OEM standard with a cert from a car club to back that up.
Rolling 25 year exemption isn't a thing, unlike there. That's why my car carries a regular plate, normal fully-comp insurance and has all the stickers and paperwork my brand new cars have. (MoT sticker arrowed)

Re: What did you do today?
Moss is only in town still! Moved to Feeder Road, so slightly easier to get to than before but a lot larger so more parts on the shelf. Should be able to get anything brake related there and then.PhilA wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 6:15 pmI would put "MoT'd" somewhere between Nice Daily and Weekender in terms of USA standards- this would need a few bushings doing and the slop in the steering remedied before it would pass.
