I am planning to sell it when I have put the remaining bits on
It's currently running but without MOT and needs about a day of me screwing the last few bits on, but certainly need to offload it as it's now surplus to requirements. It's a 190+ SE manual trans.

Re: What did you do today?
Today, I achieved my personal motoring Nirvana.
I now own.
Mercedes 508d. Holiday time.
Peugeot 205 STDT. Play time.
Toyota Hilux Surf 3.0TD. Time for work.
Peugeot Expert Combi 110 HDI. Family time.
I'm happy with that fleet. All have their purpose and I actually want all of them.
Ok, the Peugeot is ugly but, it does practical better than it does pretty and, it stays.

Engine status:-
Still fucked!
Waiting for some money to come through for it. Nearly threw in the towel with it but, after all the work I put in, I can't.

Re: What did you do today?
It threw a rod on the A41 on my way home from Dadford Road Campsite after a party.
We'd topped up the oil in Devon before I set off, 10l in the sump on one of them.
Didn't check the level before Silverstone and it seems it had consumed all the oil so went bang.
If it had drunk all that oil in that journey, it was already fucked. It was a bastard to start and smoked like a bitch for the first mile or so, so had been mistreated it's whole like before.
Was gutted at the time but I'm over it now, it obviously needed a new engine or a rebuild anyway.
