DIY is just work without pay, though.

Re: What did you do today?
Sold the trike and said my sad farewells to the old tank. Delivered it near liverpool so had a nice ride through the dales and up cat and fiddle to macclesfield then over knutsford and warrington way. My friend followed me in my Peugeot which has done astounding service too. Dropped trike off and started to head back down to banjo territory we call Derbyshire. got as far as knutsford when my mate who was now in passenger seat and browsing facebook market place for another car (hes desperately in need of a reliable 7 seater) said he'd found an 807 and we can go look. Detour from knutsford to scunthorpe side of doncaster is a fair trek! After around 300 mile we landed back home. Trike behaved well for 110 miles and Peugeot did same sterling job but after nearly 300 miles.

That was the plan but with Claire's idiopathic intracranial hypertension disorder shes been on it 4 times in 2 years. Now shes cut her hours down to 2 days a week as well we need to cut back. He was and is a toy but keeping toys dont keep ya afloat when you need.

Re: What did you do today?
I've done nothing to my mx5 in three weeks, not even driven it. Not since it was hit twice and someone tried to snap the aerial off.
I've recently spent £800 on a respray at my mates repair shop. It's looking fairly forlorn and unloved.
My garage was burgled in February with about £5k worth of gear stolen. All my 240v tools, my £800 powerflusher used once,my thirty year collection of car tools. The cunts even took my 70's raleigh racer. They properly turned the place over and it's a complete mess. I can hardly get in it. It took the council over six fucking months to replace the boarded up door. In the middle of a council estate at 9.30am and nobody heard a fucking thing. They must have had a large van to get the stuff away. They literally pulled the up and over door off it's hinges. I had one of them bar things bolted to the floor to stop it being opened.
I need to get it tidied and get the mx5 away for the winter. Here it is in happier times earlier in the year with plumbdog.

Plumbdog is stood where my Jack Russell always used to ride in my Midget years ago.
Shit news on the garage, I don't recall you mentioning it before.

Re: What did you do today?
I only got the keys back obout a fortnight ago. The 240v gear I'm not too bothered about. I'm 99% cordless now anyway. Only my new core drill is 240v.
It's all my car gear that I'm upset about still. I've always done everything to my hobby cars myself. Engine changes, clutches, brakes etc. Gutted.

Yeah I'd be pissed off as hell too. Years ago I had a car broken into & my tool box that was in there went, took ages to replace it all.
